Since the 1996 release of Bile's sophmore album Teknowhore, Bile has continued on it's trend of constant mutation. After completing two vastly different tours over the summer and autumn months, Bile's lone puppeteer Krysztoff, returned to Distoarted World(Bile's private studio) for the dark & cold months of winter. With a shoestring budget and minimal gear Krysztoff conceived Biledegradable the bastard stepchild of Teknowhore.
Biledegradable features Bile's own twisted take on The Who's My Generation. "The first ever punk song of my childhood idols" explained Krysztoff "people have lost sign of what punk is about. These days people think that if a band plays a 4 chord progression, or they sound like the Sex Pistols or the Clash, that's punk" Krysztoff laments "punk is an attitude, it's a life style, not a sound or a fashion." True to his perception of the punk aesthetic, Krysztoff is constantly flaunting Bile's sound in the face of converntion and changing the definition of his vision to sidestep the pigeonholing that goes along with ridig stulistic constraints.
"As my personal tastes change, so does Bile" states Krysztoff flatly. In the spirit of Bile's continuous progression, "Biledegradable boasts a wide spectrum of songwriting and production techiqyues. "Fasion" and "Rubber Love" tackle the classic themes of lost innocence and unrequited love(respectively) in a sonice setting that is minimalist and raw when compared to the intricate and precise production heard on Teknowhore. Further expanding the ranve of Bile's style, "Degradeable" cements the psychedelic dance styles first introduced on the vinyl Darkbeat EP(which is included on the Biledegradeable CD) to the Bile foundation.
With regard to Bile's release, Krzstoff states plainly "We are constantly looking to the future, Biledegradeable is where we are now."
