CWHK - guitar	Caroline - voice/guitar
J.T. - bass

For the past 5 years Sunshine Blind has been playing music with power and beauty at the heart of it's intent. From the angelic fury of Caroline Blind's voice to the dynamic atmospheres that erupt from CWHK's guitar, Sunshine Blind's sound is a delicate balance between opposing forces that when combined, produce a sum far greater than it's parts. Born out of humble beginnings, the nad has worked diligently for the status they ow enjoy. A glacne back at the bands history reveals a pattern of tireless effortm abd a constant focus on self improvement.
During 1190 in suburban New Jersey, Caroline Blind had been trying to get a band togehter, and CWHK came in to audition. It was magic, but alas, CWHK had prior commitments to other bands and for the moment, the two parted ways. Fast forward to March 1991: Caroline and CWHK met again at a Sisters of Mercy show in NYC. CWHK was no longer playing with anyone, and caroline convinced him that the 55 mile distance between their homes would not be an obstacle to their collaboration. She was serious, they exchanged plhone numbers, and agreed to get together that week.
After a few successful writing sessions, the duo recorded a demo tape and decided that it was time to start playing shows. Bassit "Cousin" Al was recruited (a former bandmate of CWHK's) and Sunshine Blind's live show was born! "We were awfull" recalls a misty eyes Caroline, but after moonths of experimentation, self criticism, and relentless (sometimes ridiculous) local giging, the nad was rady to tour. Hundres of demo tapes were circulated during 1993, as Sunshine Blind began to play outside of the NYC area. In Boston, Philly, and as underground press. Offers from record labels started to come in, but after breaking off talks in disgust the band decided to record their own albumm on their 8-trach home studio.
Another round of demos were sent out to carious independent labels, leading to deal with grass-roots indie Scream Records. After signing on the New Hampshire bases label in October of 1994, the band embarked on their first national tour. Once back on the east coast, Sunshine Blind;s debut CD Love The Sky to Death, was released. The band played a few record release parties and relocated to San Fransico.
Bassit Al was unable to join the band on their cross-country move, so loingtime friend (and ex-roomate) J.T. Murphy was recruited for the position. After a summer of rehearsals & local shows with J.Y., Sunshine Blind was once again ready to tour. The band played it's way back across the country to record demos for Liquid, and after a few more months of touring and fine-tuning, the material was ready to be recorded.
After Liquid was recorded, Sunshine Blind hit the road again as part of the Apparition tour (a package tour featuring Faith and the Muse, Malign, and Ichor) which lasted into October of 1996. The band headed home for much needed rest & recuperation perios during which they signed with Energy Recirds.
On February 18th Energy Records will release liquid to a rabid legion of fans who have been anticipating the sphomore release for over a year. Expect to see Sunshine Blind continue their rigorous tour schedule, and expand their route beyond US borders (their presence has alrady been requested at several European festivals) in 1997.
